Competitive summer baseball, ages 8U through 14U. Part of the regional Hiawatha Valley League.
Fundamentals-focused introduction to real game baseball. Emphasis on throwing, fielding, hitting, and base running.
Growing independence at the plate and on the mound. Starts building competitive awareness alongside skill development.
Increased pitching responsibility with pitch count rules. Teams begin to develop defined positions and game strategy.
Full youth rules with regulation pitch counts and innings limits. Teams compete at a high level across the regional league.
Transition to advanced game strategy and mound development. Prepares players for 14U and high school programs.
Full baseball with 90-foot bases and 60.5-foot pitching distance. The highest level of the LYB program.
Any youth meeting age requirements who lives within or attends the La Crescent-Hokah School District (ISD #300) is eligible.
